TITANflex receives iF Material Award
TITANflex was the only brand to win the renowned iF Material Award 2012 for one of its spectacles models. The prize went to the TITANflex model 820578. The international iF expert jury was particularly impressed by the sophisticated technologies used to operate the flexible memory metal of the frames.
For the award-winning TITANflex model 820578, an optimum combination of different manufacturing processes was used. A particular innovation is the temple design: fine, straight openings and an attractive, complex two-tone look give the spectacles that certain something. For this purpose, the openings are milled due to the special material properties of TITANflex – an unusual processing method, which makes Eschenbach Optik unique in the industry.
